11 Days And Counting To The Season Premier Of CRIMINAL MINDS

There are only eleven more days to the CRIMINAL MINDS Season 6 Premier, and eighteen days to the A.J. Cook Kiss-off episode. Spoiler photos are out from the upcoming program, to air on September 29. Apparently, someone is going to make JJ a job offer she can't refuse, according to the episode description. Good-bye little sister.
Well, at least that doesn't sound like as lame a plot as "she wants to spend more time with her baby," but not as drastic as having her shot in the line of duty. Of course, that might have been interesting, having JJ die a hero's death.
Whatever...
So, Ed Bernero, how do you feel about this? Your silence is deafening.

12 Days And Counting To The Season Premier Of CRIMINAL MINDS

The CRIMINAL MINDS Family

Executive Producer, Edward A. Bernero

As we count down the last twelve days to the CRIMINAL MINDS Season Six Premier, we pay tribute to the man behind the scenes, Executive Producer, Edward A. Bernero.
Ed, as a former Chicago police officer, began penning scripts in his downtime on the job. After ten years as a beat cop, he began his television career as a freelance writer for the series, "Brooklyn South." He created the series "Third Watch," based on his experiences as a police officer, and was producer, writer and director for the program.
Ed then became executive producer for the CBS series, CRIMINAL MINDS. He has written and directed several episodes of the series, including the upcoming Season 6 Premier, "The Longest Night," coming on September 22.
It has been appreciated by fans that Ed has been very much in touch with them over the years. Interesting, however, that he has been strangely quiet over the recent firing of A.J. Cook and the reduced role for Paget Brewster on MINDS. Since he is generally very vocal, LOVING MOORE cannot help but wonder about his silence. Is he behind A.J.'s firing, or at least complicate? We would like to hear more from Ed on this topic. He has a chat scheduled with fans this week, but we're betting he isn't going to address the issue.
The cast members and Ed look like a happy family in the top photo, which was taken on A.J.'s last day. Ed? WTF?

July 7 on CRIMINAL MINDS ~ Encore: "A Thousand Words"
When a serial killer covered in tattoos commits suicide, he leaves the BAU clues to the identity of his last victim, who may still be alive, on CRIMINAL MINDS, encore episode, Wednesday, July 7. Stars SHEMAR MOORE, Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, Paget Brewster, and A.J. Cook.
"A THOUSAND WORDS" is a little heavy on the guest stars for fans who want to see their favorite profilers at work. Dean Norris (Breaking Bad) and Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver, Greg Jennings, guest star in this one, with Jennings making his acting debut in a scene with SHEMAR MOORE. The episode, which first aired in May, has the team working backward to save a serial killer's last victim. Edward Allen Bernero, who is the series Executive Producer, and who is one of MIND'S best writers, penned this one.

CRIMINAL MINDS Spin-Off Named ~ SUSPECT BEHAVIOR

The program will follow an elite team of agents within the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit, who use unconventional methods of investigation and aggressive tactics to capture the country's most dangerous criminals. Whitaker portrays lead agent, Sam Cooper. Matt Ryan, Michael Kelly and Gina LaSalle will also star.
The series was introduced in April in a lackluster cross-over episode with the original CRIMINAL MINDS called "The Fight." Chris Mundy, Edward Allen Bernero, Mark Gordon and Deborah Spera are the Executive Producers.
