It was a grand week for fans of "Criminal Minds," as the series aired it's 200th episode to a record audience. Also, we were treated to seeing our beloved team of BAU profilers in numerous interviews and talk shows to promote the event, the best of which was the entire cast appearing on "The Talk" on Wednesday. The episode was a departure from the usual CM format. It was an hour long roller coaster ride of action, reminiscent of the great "24" in it's heyday. It was AJ Cook's moment to shine. She gave a solid performance and proved that she's more than just the pretty face on the team. It was a good story, exciting to watch. It brought back a number popular characters, including Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster), Kevin Lynch (Nicholas Brendon), and Erin Strauss (Jayne Atkinson). Critics may say the plot was a bit far-fetched. And, we SHEMAR MOORE fans were disappointed by our guy's lack of screen time, but as an episode it was fun to watch. Sometimes you simply have to suspend your disbelief and sit back and enjoy the ride. What will the writers have in mind for episode 300, coming in 2017? |
