CRIMINAL MINDS Stars And Their Pets

Paget Brewster and her cat are featured in the new issue of
IN TOUCH magazine.
Matthew Gray Gubler and his puppy.
Joe Mangegna and his dog
SHEMAR MOORE and Shug, one of his two English bulldogs.

With IN TOUCH magazine coming out with a feature on CRIMINAL MINDS co-star Paget Brewster's cat, we thought you would enjoy seeing some of the other MINDS' stars pets.

We were surprised that Joe Mantegna had a little "foo-foo" dog. Doesn't quite fit his "tough guy" image.

Matthew Gray Gubler's puppy suits him, although his little doggie may be bigger now, since the photo is a year old.

And, SHEMAR MOORE, who owns bulldogs, doesn't mind taking them in his pricey, customized car. Bulldogs slobber!
Guess it shows how unpretentious our SHEMAR is.

Although he is now driving the HAPPY 40th BIRTHDAY Audi that he talked about on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," we're guessing that SHEMAR's dogs, Moe and Shug, still get to ride with Daddy.

16 Days And Counting To The Season Premier Of CRIMINAL MINDS

With sixteen days until the Season 6 Premier of CRIMINAL MINDS, and the return of our beloved SSA Derek Morgan, we have been looking for ways of coping with Derek withdrawal. It has been a long summer hiatus for fans of SHEMAR MOORE/Morgan.

While net surfing, we stumbled across a SHEMAR MOORE doll. Hum...So, we're thinking? Could snuggling up to an image of SHEMAR help the withdrawl pangs we've been having? Does it come in a life size version? Or even dare we hope, (gulp) anatomically correct?

The doll definitely needs a hair adjustment. SHEMAR DOLL looks more like the former Malcolm Winters from "The Young and the Restless." Our sexy Agent Derek Morgan shaves his head and only has the slighted hint of hair. Still, we're considering purchasing one, as we wait these last days until the season premier.

"Ask SHEMAR MOORE" Tweets Former Y&R Star, Victoria Rowell

SHEMAR MOORE and former Y&R co-star, Victoria Rowell

Since her departure from "The Young and the Restless" in 2007, Victoria Rowell has been outspoken in her accusations of racism and behind the scenes turmoil on the popular daytime series.

Ms. Rowell penned a book in 2009 entitled, "Secrets of a Soap Opera Diva," and is currently on a book tour to promote the publication. It is said to be a thinly veiled look at her own life on Y&R, where she played Drucilla Winters for 17 years. Several of those years, she worked with SHEMAR MOORE, who portrayed Malcolm Winters.

Two recently posted YouTube videos talk about her allegations. You can hear them here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBMZeg9owI4

Victoria has also been blasting "The Young and the Restless" on Twitter. Today, among other comments, she had this to say:
"African Amer tenured soap stars, including myself NOT paid equal, some surpassing audience draw from early 1960s to 2010, ask SHEMAR MOORE."

Really? Was SHEMAR MOORE underpaid? Is that why he never came back for the oft suggested guest spot?

You can follow the outspoken Ms. Rowell on Twitter @

Is Victoria merely a malcontent, or is she a credible whistle blower?

To date, SHEMAR MOORE does not have a verified Twitter account.
He may be smart!

17 Days And Counting To The Season Premier Of CRIMINAL MINDS

Agent Morgan on vacation in "The Fisher King" episode of CRIMINAL MINDS
Dancing with Derek Morgan from "The Big Game" episode of CRIMINAL MINDS
Stunna party at Shemar's home in July 2009
Shemar in an annual Bike MS ride

On LABOR DAY weekend, we celebrate the last days of summer. Whatever our Agent Derek Morgan/SHEMAR MOORE is doing, we hope he is enjoying his time off from work.

Our Derek/SHEMAR could be at home, on a beach, at a party, or training for his annual Bike MS Ride coming in October, but we're thinking of him and all of his cast mates, as we count down the last 17 days until the return of our favorite series, CRIMINAL MINDS. SHEMAR's cast mates include Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson, Matthew Gray Gubler, Paget Brewster and Kirsten Vangsness.

They should be back to work tomorrow, filming new episodes for us to enjoy in Season 6 which premiers on September 22.

18 Days And Counting To The Season Premier Of CRIMINAL MINDS

Early Derek Morgan
Season 2 Derek
Derek had little hair in Season 3, 4, and part of 5
The beard came back in Season 5

While we at LOVING MOORE anxiously await the Season 6 Premier of CRIMINAL MINDS, we find that viewing photos of our hero, SSA Derek Morgan (SHEMAR MOORE) helps us to cope with the four month hiatus from new episodes.

We take note of the changes in Derek's appearance over the five seasons.
In the earlier episodes, Derek had more hair and a scruffy beard.
He then went to a finely trimmed goatee and mustache.

In Season 3, he had a clean shaven look and almost no hair. We know our agent didn't go bald because we could see the shadow of hair that might be if he let it grow. Besides, his alter ego, SHEMAR MOORE, was often spotted with hair in his down time. It took us awhile to get used to the hairless look, especially since we first fell in love with Agent Morgan back when he was Malcolm Winters on the YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS, and he had hair on his head and face. But a beautiful man is still beautiful, no matter how he is barbered, and it was good.

But when our Agent's counterpart, SHEMAR, showed up after the Christmas holiday last year to resume filming CRIMINAL MINDS, again with a neatly trimmed mustache and beard, we decided it was our favorite look ~ Memories of Malcolm.

Eighteen more days!
Season 6 Premier is Wednesday, September 22.

19 Days And Counting To The Season Premier Of CRIMINAL MINDS

CRIMINAL MINDS Season 5 cover
Our Derek Morgan becomes acting Unit Chief
A close moment between Penelope and Derek
Haley Hotchner's death brings the team together

Morgan and Tamara Barnes, a romance?

With 19 days until the Season Premier of CRIMINAL MINDS, rabid SHEMAR MOORE/Derek Morgan fans may find the waiting easier if they spend time watching the Season 5 DVDs, which go on sale on September 7.

There were some great episodes in the past season. We saw Hotch's (Thomas Gibson) showdown with The Reaper, and the death of one of our own. There were close moments between Derek Morgan (SHEMAR MOORE) and Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) to sate the appetites of the Morgan/Garcia shippers. There was a hinted romance for Morgan with Tamara Barnes (Salli Richardson-Whitfield), and we saw our hero, Derek Morgan, get his own office at the BAU and become acting Unit Chief. Also, there were sensitive performances by some great guest stars, including Gavin Rossdale, Eric Close, and Sean Patrick Flanery.

And, there was the abysmal pilot episode for "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior," which we at LOVING MOORE hated, but we plan to fast forward through that one.
It did star Forest Whitaker, who is a fine actor, but CRIMINAL MINDS purists aren't on board for any spin-offs, and the episode was hurried, badly written, and lacking in chemistry among the cast members. Just sayin'......

The DVDs will be on sale on Tuesday, and include some nifty extras which have already been posted on YouTube.

20 Days And Counting To The Season Premier of CRIMINAL MINDS

Not so scary, actor Tim Curry
Real scary villain, Tim Curry, on CRIMINAL MINDS
Yikes!
OMG! He hurt Derek!
Since we showed our hero, Derek Morgan, hurt and battered, we had to post of picture of his fine self at a better time.

LOVING MOORE BLOG has been quiet for the last several weeks, as the Administrator devoted her time to writing Derek Morgan centered "Criminal Minds" fan fiction.

***Shameless plug! Our "Criminal Minds" stories can be found at www.fanfiction.net/ and are written under the pen name of Deanne Stevenson.***

With just twenty days left until the Season Premier of CM, we are excitedly counting down the days. What is the fate of our hero, Derek Morgan (SHEMAR MOORE)? When we last saw him during the Season 5 Finale, the guest psychopath (Tim Curry) had him tied up and kept kicking him in the head.

OMG! He hurt Derek!

Of course, all of the Morgan/SHEMAR MOORE fans found it painful to watch. Interesting, though, that even bloody and beaten, our Derek was still smokin' hot.

We're here for you, Baby!

The Season 6 Premier of "Criminal Minds" airs on Wednesday, September 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
