SHEMAR MOORE ~ Daytime Emmy Awards 2015

As promised, our SHEMAR MOORE was at the Daytime Emmys on April 26 and
looking exceptionally fine. Nobody shines up better than our Baby Boy. He
presented the award for Outstanding Lead Actress but not until after he
commented on how it was "good to be home." He talked about the
Y&R folks who took a chance on him 21 years ago and started
him on the career he has today.

Moderator, Angie, who remembered SHEMAR MOORE's post a few days ago 

about today being the birthday of his career. On April 6, 1994 SHEMAR received

a phone call saying that the producers at "The Young and the Restless" liked his 

audition and he'd been hired for the role of Malcolm Winters. 

Congratulations, SHEMAR, on twenty-one successful years as an actor.

SHEMAR MOORE ~ Raising Multiple Sclerosis Awareness

SHEMAR MOORE is well-known for his acting roles, especially as Malcolm
Winters on "The Young and the Restless," and the sexy, sensitive man who
captured Kimberly Elise's heart in the film "Diary of a Mad Black Woman."
Most recently, he's portrayed SSA Derek Morgan on the long-running
CBS series, "Criminal Minds." 

Another important role for SHEMAR is advocate for Multiple
Sclerosis sufferers. He and others from "Criminal Minds" ride annually
in Southern California's Bike MS. Also, SHEMAR designs and markets
the very trendy Baby Girl fashion line, donating all of his profits to
Multiple Sclerosis Research.

LovingMooreAndMore supports SHEMAR in his career and in the
fine work he does on behalf of MS Sufferers.

Symptoms Vary
The list of possible MS symptoms is long. It includes numbness and tingling, vision problems, balance and mobility issues, and slurred speech. There is no such thing as a “typical” symptom of MS because each person experiences the disease differently. The same type of symptoms may come and go frequently, or you may regain a lost function (bladder control, for example) after a period of time. The unpredictable pattern of symptoms has to do with which nerves your immune system attacks at any given time.

Relapse and Remission

Most people who are seeking treatment for MS go through relapses and remissions. A relapse is when you experience a flare-up of symptoms. Relapses are also called “exacerbations.” Remission is a period in which you have no symptoms of the disease. A remission can last for weeks, months, or, in some cases, years. But remission does not mean you no longer have MS. Drug therapy (medication) can help put you into remission, but your immune system is still wired to attack myelin. Symptoms will likely return at some point.

SHEMAR MOORE ~ Wins NAACP Award

SHEMAR MOORE's Friends, Fans and  Baby Girls at LOVING MOORE
were cheering loudly last night when he won the NAACP Image Award for
Outstanding Actor in a Drama Series. 

Those of us who have been loyal fans throughout SHEMAR's decade long
portrayal of Agent Derek Morgan on "Criminal Minds" have always
 appreciated the fine work he does on the series. However, it was really
awesome to see the NAACP honor his work, too.

It is SHEMAR's 8th Image Award and the first for "Criminal Minds."
The previous awards were for his portrayal of Malcolm Winters
 on "The Young and the Restless."

SHEMAR may need to build another shelf at his home for statuettes.
With a long career still ahead, his LOVING MOORE friends are
guessing that this is only the beginning of the honors headed his way.

to think that LOVING MOORE provides that departure. Really,

SHEMAR MOORE is an amiable man who reaches out to fans
in a way that makes us feel he's a friend, even if we haven't
met him yet. He has a positive outlook and strives to
follow his dreams. He encourages us to do the same. It's hard
not to love a guy like that, hence the name LOVING Moore.

Instagram, and here on our blog. And we're growing.

We also exist to support SHEMAR in all of his

SHEMAR MOORE ~ He's a Hard Man to Keep Up With

Bill Bellamy, Nadine Velazquez, Shemar Moore 

Last weekend was HECTIC.  It took lots of stamina to keep up
SHEMAR MOORE while he attended The Toronto Film Festival,
and related events, with members of the cast and crew of his
upcoming movie. "The Bounce Back." We were only
"internet stalking" our Baby Boy, but what a pace he sets!
However, hard-working LovingMooreAndMore mods rose to the 
occasion. Although we're still a bit tuckered out, we have a nice 
ten-page thread on the LovingMoore Message Board, filled with 
photos, film clips and interviews from SHEMAR in Canada. 

Plus, we're still adding to it.

There was no time for a break, either, because SHEMAR came back
 to the excitement of his appearance on "The Young and the Restless"
on September 11 and 12. There were more interviews to promote the
return of Malcolm, more previews, photos....Wow, we were busy!

Then, there was the two-days event itself, which more than 
exceeded all fan expectations.

It was fantastic seeing SHEMAR and his Y&R brother, 
Neil/Kristoff, reunited and embroiled in typical soap drama. 
Most of us are hoping SHEMAR will be guest starring 
on the program again.

This may be a quieter weekend, as SHEMAR tells us he is taking
time to celebrate with his mother, who had a birthday last week.

With Bike MS coming up next month, the Season 10 Premier of
"Criminal Minds" on October 1, and more Bounce Back related
events scheduled, we need to rest while we can. SHEMAR
MOORE is a hard man to keep up with, even online.

on hand for the reunion. Her character fell off a cliff in 2007.

Shemar Moore Returns as Malcolm


MALCOLM WINTERS is going to do it. He'll be returning to Genoa City in
two episodes of "The Young and the Restless" scheduled to air on
September 10 and 11. SHEMAR MOORE will return to the role that
made him a star and earned him an Emmy.

SHEMAR began playing Malcolm in 1994. He left in 2002, but returned
briefly in 2004-2005 until he was cast as SSA Derek Morgan on
"Criminal Minds." We predict SHEMAR's appearance will
generate record ratings for the soap.

Taking a fun look back.

In 1994, twenty-four year old SHEMAR MOORE, an up and coming
star on "The Young and the Restless," appeared on
"Circus of the Stars Goes to Disneyland" where he adeptly
walked a tightrope, and yep, up high and without a net. 

Love the look of determination on Malcolm Winter's unlined
young face.

SHEMAR proved he still had the same agility when he walked a
tiight rope again at a "Criminal Minds" party in 2012. This time,
he was not so high up. He's a big star now. He can't be taking
chances. Derek Morgan can't chase bad guys in a body cast.

Although SHEMAR and Company are still giddy over the
completed filming of "The Bounce Back," it's time to shift
back into profiler mode. "Criminal Minds" begins
filming on July 7.

As an advocate for Multiple Sclorosis sufferers, SHEMAR

like this one. He's shown here with his mother, Marilyn.

With "The Bounce Back" movie coming next year, we are 
looking forward to seeing our Baby Boy on many more covers. 

The movie is coming Valentine's Day, 2015.It is filming now in LA.

are anxiously anticipating the big event.

We love our Derek Morgan. In a world that needs more heroes, on CRIMINAL
MINDS these past nine seasons, Morgan was brave, moral, compassionate,
and we counted on him  to always do the right thing. Not going to lie. If
Season 10 is, as SHEMAR MOORE tells us, his last season on the series
we're really, really going to miss him.

Heck, some of us still get a little teary when we think of Malcolm Winters. 

But, time and the world do not stand still. Change is the law of life, and our
Morgan is going to turn in his shield to become Matthew Taylor, author and
motivational speaker.

Matthew has a story to tell us about finding love, losing love,
and finding it again.

We see all of the photos coming out from the filming, and everyone looks
so happy. Our SHEMAR looks happy. "The Bounce Back," from everything
we've seen so far, is going to be another role for SHEMAR that we
fall in love with.

With Memorial Day being a patriotic holiday, we looked thru the
LovingMooreAndMore files for pictures of SHEMAR that
included an American flag. We found two. Here is
Malcolm Winters taking photos at an event on
"The Young and the Restless" in 1995 just before
he left the soap opera to become Derek Morgan. 

SSA Derek Morgan just happened to be walking past an American flag
in an episode of "Criminal Minds," but a quick screen capture gives
us a photo that is very appropriate for the holiday.

Hope everyone is enjoying their holiday weekend but don't forget
the reason for Memorial Day.

clip on YouTube of our SHEMAR MOORE, Dean Cain and some
other celebrities at a celebrity basketball event back during the
Malcolm Winters/Y&R era. SHEMAR and Dean Cain are so
boyish looking. You might remember Dean from his days as
Superman, and as the unsub in the CRIMINAL MINDS episode,
"Snake Eyes."  He is most recently to be  seen on the new VH1
drama series, HIT THE FLOOR.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY ~ Marilyn Wilson-Moore

LovingMooreAndMore came into being nearly four years ago.  
It was started by SHEMAR MOORE fans who wanted a positive
forum to share news and photos, to chat about Shemar, and
celebrate the volume of his work that has brought
us so much enjoyment.

Many are new fans who discovered Shemar as Derek
Morgan on "Criminal Minds." Others have been devotees
since Shemar made his acting debut as Malcolm
Winters on "The Young and the Restless."

Regardless of when they came aboard, anyone, who has
followed Shemar's life and career at all, knows
from his interviews that he is devoted to
 his mother, Marilyn Wilson-Moore.

A divorced mother since he was a toddler, Shemar credits
Marilyn with giving her only child the best life she could
while he was growing up. He cites her with instilling him
with the values he lives by and by stressing the importance
of education. She taught him to be himself, not to try to be
the image of what others may expect him to be. She
encouraged him to dream and gave him the self-confidence 
to believe that you can make dreams come true.

Shemar becomes emotional when he talks about the proud
moment in 2012 when he was able to give back, and he
presented a home on the ocean to his mother. In addition to
what Shemar refers to as "the condo in Redondo," he is
passionate about helping to raise funds for MS Research,
a disease his mother has struggled with for many years.

Even with an actor's busy schedule, Shemar trains to ride
and participates in a 100 mile bike event each year for MS. 

He has successfully started Baby Girl clothing, a business
which markets colorful, sexy, high-quality women's apparel.
All of the profits are donated to The MS Society for research.

When you view Ms. Marilyn through the eyes of her son,
you see the mother we all wish we'd had. Or, if you too had a
great mom, he makes you appreciate your parent all the more.

Marilyn Wilson-Moore has earned the respect and admiration
of all us at LovingMooreAndMore. On this day that
honors mothers, we send our love to this awesome lady.
