CRIMINAL MINDS ~ Oh, The Angst ~ Just 4 Episodes Left

It is hard to believe that there are only four new episodes of CRIMINAL MINDS left until the end of Season 6. It seems like just yesterday that Derek Morgan (SHEMAR MOORE) fans were cringing while evil Billy Flynn (Tim Curry) kicked our handsome hero in the head in "The Longest Night." Please don't hurt Derek!

Now, the endless wait. Will CRIMINAL MINDS be renewed for a seventh season? Will SHEMAR MOORE and Thomas Gibson be back? What will happen next to our favorite profilers after the season finale? Will we ever see Emily or JJ again? Oh, the angst!

Here is the schedule for the rest of the current season.

April 13 ~ "The Stranger"

April 20 ~ "Into the Woods" (repeat)

April 27 ~ "JJ" (repeat)

April 30 (Saturday) ~ "What Happens at Home" (repeat)

May 4 ~ "Out of the Light"

May 11 ~ "Big Sea"

May 18~ "Supply and Demand" (Season Finale)

All episodes at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time Zone

CRIMINAL MINDS ~ Schedule Changes for January

SSA Derek Morgan (SHEMAR MOORE) in "The Longest Night"

CBS has made some more changes to the January schedule for
CRIMINAL MINDS.

January 5 ~ The People's Choice Awards
(Dare we hope that our show won for Favorite Crime Drama?)

January 9 ~ The Longest Night
In a rebroadcast of the Season Six Premier, the BAU pursues The Prince of Darkness (Tim Curry) who strikes during rolling blackouts. The episode is mostly Derek Morgan centered. Happily for Morgan fans, he still manages to look smokin' hot, dispite having been beaten by the unsub.

Take note of the date and time ~ Sunday at 10 p.m.

January 12 ~ JJ
In a rebroadcast of A.J Cook's kiss-off episode, the BAU investigates a kidnapping.

January 19 ~ Corazon
In the long-awaited new episode, Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) suffers from headaches and hallucinations that may affect his future with the BAU, while the team investigates a series of bizarre, ritualistic murders.

January 26 ~ The Thirteenth Step
The BAU hunts for a young couple on an interstate murder spree, while Prentiss (Paget Brewster) hears frightening news from her former boss at Interpol.

CRIMINAL MINDS ~ Thanks A Lot CBS!

SHEMAR MOORE/Derek Morgan fans who have been waiting for the first new episode of CRIMINAL MINDS in 2011, will have to wait awhile longer. The episode entitled "Corazon" was set to premier on Wednesday, January 12. In a scheduling shuffle, the episode has been pushed back a week and will not be shown until January 19.

Yippity-zip! We will be treated to a rerun of "The Mentalist" instead.

Apparently, the powers that be want the new CRIMINAL MINDS to act as a lead-in for "Blue Bloods," which is moving to Wednesdays at 10 p.m. In February, "Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior" will move into that time period. Whatever...

TWENTY-ONE days until a new episode of CRIMINAL MINDS. We at LOVING MOORE are NOT happy!

One small bright spot, however, is that the network is showing a rerun of the sixth season premier, "The Longest Night," on Sunday, January 9 at 10 p.m. The BAU team continues to pursue The Prince of Darkness (Tim Curry), a killer who strikes when there are rolling blackouts.

A.J. Cook gives an amazing performance in this one, in her next to last episode before the network gave her the kiss-off.

SHEMAR MOORE fans will enjoy it, too, since it is primarily Derek Morgan centric. You see an entirely different side to the complex character of our Agent Morgan, which will surely titillate his fans.

Criminal Minds ~ When Did SHEMAR MOORE Learn To Act?

SHEMAR MOORE as Agent Derek Morgan
SHEMAR and A.J.Cook

When did SHEMAR MOORE learn to act?

Looking back on his early days on "The Young and the Restless," he wasn't much of an actor. But, he smiled that engaging smile of his, and had plenty of gratuitous shirtless scenes, so his lack of acting skill didn't matter.

He must have improved by 2000, because he won a daytime Emmy. We were concentrating on career by then and didn't have time for soaps, so we didn't notice.

We didn't realize that SHEMAR had learned to act until the night in December, 2006, when the CRIMINAL MINDS episode, "Profiler, Profiled," first aired on CBS. We were blown away by his stunning portrayal of a sexual abuse victim, who'd kept his shame and guilt a secret for twenty years. After the emotional scene where he confronts his abuser, we were blown away.
When did "Malcolm" learn to act like that?

We've paid more attention to his work since then. SHEMAR has become a good, solid actor, who can hold his own with the best of them, and he has.

We've read many reviews of the Season Six Premier of CRIMINAL MINDS, most of them favorable. Tim Curry was praised for his chilling portrayal of serial killer, Billy Flynn. Everyone was blown away by A.J. Cook's sensitive, sincere scenes, that left us wondering. "What the hell was CBS thinking when they fired her?"

There was a lot of talk about young Isabella Murad, who played Ellie Speicer, although most of the buzz was about the strange expression the kid had on her face through most of the episode.

There wasn't much mention of SHEMAR by reviewers. His character, Agent Morgan, has evolved over the past seasons. He's far less flirtatious and doesn't smile often. It is as though Derek's soul has grown dark and troubled from the horrors he has seen. The cold, angry Derek who shot (murdered?) Billy Flynn was adeptly acted by SHEMAR.

It is likely that SHEMAR MOORE will never get the respect he deserves as an actor. CRIMINAL MINDS is largely ignored at Emmy time. SHEMAR won't ever be considered for a Best Supporting Actor nomination. Heck, he's barely mentioned in the series reviews.

LOVING MOORE wants to send a shout out to SHEMAR MOORE. Some of us have noticed, SHEMAR. You're absolutely doing something right.
So much so, that we named our blog after you. You'll notice that our LOVING MOORE is spelled with two OO's.

Today Is The Season Premier Of CRIMINAL MINDS

The long awaited Season Six Premier of CRIMINAL MINDS is finally here. Tonight we see the fate of our hero, Derek Morgan.

When last we saw Agent Morgan, his wrists and ankles were duct taped, and the unsub, a deliciously evil Tim Curry, was kicking him in the face.

Interesting, however, that our Derek still managed to look smokin' hot, even with a gash on his head, and blood on his lips.

Tonight we get all of our questions answered.

Is Detective Speicer dead?
(Yeah, probably, since Eric Close isn't listed in the credits.)

Will Morgan save Speicer's young daughter?

Will Derek be traumatized by guilt over what happened?
(We're here for you, Baby!)

Will the BAU track down the serial killer and bring him to justice?

Will Morgan (SHEMAR MOORE) look as handsome as ever, even with his cuts and bruises? (We're betting he will. His face probably won't even be swollen.)

Tonight/Wednesday, September 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
Hooray!

Also, today is the grand opening of the LOVING MOORE Message Board. The new site is devoted to SHEMAR MOORE, Criminal Minds and the stars, and more.

5 Days And Counting To The Season Premier Of CRIMINAL MINDS

object width="560" height="340">

With only five days left until the Season Six Premier of CRIMINAL MINDS, we recap the Season Five Finale, "Our Darkest Hour."

Wow! All we can say is that Tim Curry is one skeezy unsub. We really want to hiss and boo at him for hurting our Derek Morgan/SHEMAR MOORE.

Nice to see Detective Speicer/Eric Close in this clip, who is probably dead since he isn't in the promo video, or on the guest cast list of the Season Six Premier. Heard he has a new gig on an upcoming series called "Chaos." He has been a LOVING MOORE favorite since his "Without a Trace" days.

This is a CBS video, so you have to sit through a thirty second mayonnaise commercial to see it, but the wait is almost over. Season Premier is Wednesday, September 22!

TV GUIDE MEGA BUZZ
September 7, 2010

Can you give any clues about the Criminal Minds premiere?
ADAM:
I can tell you that Morgan is vital in bringing down Tim Curry's serial killer and that the child he kidnapped in the finale has an impact that reaches beyond the season premiere. "The carryover from that story is still around," Thomas Gibson tells us. "There's a very wonderful story that we are shooting right now that involves the little girl from last year and my family and Agent Morgan's connection with the little girl. All of those threads are brought together ... and intertwine in a really great way."

20 Days And Counting To The Season Premier of CRIMINAL MINDS

Not so scary, actor Tim Curry
Real scary villain, Tim Curry, on CRIMINAL MINDS
Yikes!
OMG! He hurt Derek!
Since we showed our hero, Derek Morgan, hurt and battered, we had to post of picture of his fine self at a better time.

LOVING MOORE BLOG has been quiet for the last several weeks, as the Administrator devoted her time to writing Derek Morgan centered "Criminal Minds" fan fiction.

***Shameless plug! Our "Criminal Minds" stories can be found at www.fanfiction.net/ and are written under the pen name of Deanne Stevenson.***

With just twenty days left until the Season Premier of CM, we are excitedly counting down the days. What is the fate of our hero, Derek Morgan (SHEMAR MOORE)? When we last saw him during the Season 5 Finale, the guest psychopath (Tim Curry) had him tied up and kept kicking him in the head.

OMG! He hurt Derek!

Of course, all of the Morgan/SHEMAR MOORE fans found it painful to watch. Interesting, though, that even bloody and beaten, our Derek was still smokin' hot.

We're here for you, Baby!

The Season 6 Premier of "Criminal Minds" airs on Wednesday, September 22 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
